  1. Defatting at Low Temperatures: Cleaned Non-GMO soybeans are cracked, dehulled, and flaked. Oil is extracted using low-temperature processes to prevent thermal denaturation of the functional proteins, leaving behind high-NSI (Nitrogen Solubility Index) white flakes.
  2. Solubilization & Clarification: The soluble proteins and sugars are extracted in an aqueous alkaline medium. Centrifugal decanters isolate the insoluble fiber (which is processed separately into Soy Dietary Fiber).
  3. Isoelectric Precipitation: The pH of the liquid extract is adjusted to the isoelectric point of soy globulins (pH 4.5). This causes the protein fraction to precipitate, allowing whey sugars and minerals to be washed away.
  4. Neutralization & Jet Cooking: The precipitated protein curd is washed, resuspended, and neutralized to pH 6.8–7.2. The slurry is then run through a high-pressure jet cooker for flash sterilization and to unfold the protein chains, developing their functional properties.
  5. Spray Drying: Using our high-capacity Dachuan Yuan spray drying towers, the neutralized protein slurry is atomized into dry, stable, and highly functional soy protein isolate powder.
