In global food manufacturing, the term "Dispersed Isolated Soy Protein" (DISP) refers to specialized protein structures that disperse quickly in water, forming stable, low-viscosity colloidal systems. Unlike standard soy protein isolates, which may clump or gel under shear stress, highly dispersed proteins are engineered to remain fluid, ensuring uniform distribution, smooth textures, and consistent nutritional profiles in food formulations.
Achieving high dispersion requires precise adjustments to the protein's native state. During processing at our Shandong Kawah Oils facility, the 7S (conglycinin) and 11S (glycinin) globulins are carefully modified.
